Introduction

 

Fiber orientation, caused by processing, has a serious influence on the final mechanical properties of reinforced components.

 

For this reason the prediction of fiber orientation using flow simulation software is an important tool for the designer.

 

Unfortunately it is not easy to visualize the orientation by simple methods, which makes comparison between simulation and reality very complex.
