Data Content of Material Data Center:

• complete set of CAMPUS data
• additional datasheets according to ASTM standards
• technical literature about plastics
• integrated application database
• special databases with valuable results from research projects (Biopolymers, data for crash simulation)

Data Integrity:

Material Data Center contains data from different sources

• CAMPUS, the international database of the resin producers
• ASTM data, mainly for US grades, collected in a joint project with Plastics Technology
• Data measured according to ISO standards, but from other sources than CAMPUS

Material properties are only comparable, if generated and evaluated according to uniform conditions.

Therefore, Material Data Center does not allow any direct comparison between values from different sources. It is only possible to run numerical searches inside one standard system.
