introduction

Data which describes the dynamic behavior of fiber reinforced plastics depends on many influencing factors.

The information system INFACO holds information about the dynamic properties of fiber reinforced plastics in a systematic and quantified way and effectively replaces conventional literature research.

INFACO combines data on the material properties, specimen geometry, load history, processing parameters, environmental influences (temperature, humidity, radiation) and also includes comprehensive bibliographic data and text abstracts.

INFACO has been developed in co-operation with the Lehrstuhl für Kunststofftechnik of the University of Erlangen, who performed the most comprehensive literature review and delivered the data basis on which M-Base has developed the INFACO database software.
