Funded by the German Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture several partners develop processing recommendations for Biopolymers in a joint project. The partners ar

  • IfBB - Institut für Biokunststoffe und Bioverbundwerkstoffe, Hochschule Hannover
  • IAP - Fraunhofer-Institut für angewandte Polymerforschung, Potsdam
  • SKZ - KFE gGmbH, Würzburg
  • SLK - Professur für Strukturleichtbau und Kunststoffverarbeitung, Technische Universität Chemnitz

M-Base has now received a mandate to integrate the new results from this project into the existing Biopolymer database. For this purpose structure and functionality of the system will be extended. Since it will not be possible to cover all existing Biopolymers in one research project, the main task of our activity will be to cluster available information and to develop a strategy to make it available for new cases, e.g. by working with generic materials.
